You absolutely have to read the book "Curly Girl", I can't remember the authors name but her tips really work! I have tried them and my curl is so much better now, I love it!
Curly Girl, by Lorraine Massey. It's a life saver!! I've followed the "curly girl method" for my hair for 4+ years now, and I would never dream of doing my hair any other way. And it's pretty much wash-and-wear... without frizz.
