Sneak Peek: Michael and Kirsten.

Amorology has done it again! Michael and Kirsten's wedding was A.MAZING. I got to help photographer Jamie Hammond with this event and had an absolute ball. The wedding had a Marie Antoinette theme ("let them eat cake" . . . look it up:)) and everything was just gorgeous!! I spent most of the night at the crazy booth (more on that to come soon!) but was able to grab a few fun detail shots as well. Enjoy!

There were mini cakes and awesome cupcake stands as centerpieces on all the tables! Definitely the yummiest wedding my crazy sweet tooth and I have ever attended!

Plugging Away.

More coming soon. Just plugging away in the digital darkroom. Here's a first shot of the day from a recent wedding . . . love it when you fire off a gem right off jump street!

Lovely.

I recently had a bride contact me requesting pictures from my wedding portfolio. With my computer that holds the vast portion of my portfolio in the shop, I had to go searching a long lost online hosting service where I used to upload pics. I came across these long forgotten pictures from the first wedding I ever shot! How fun to remember. I was nervous out of my brain. I got paid practically nothing, but I learned SO much!! I tell ya, in retrospect, had I known how much I'd learn about wedding photography at that event, I probably would have PAID THEM to LET ME shoot their wedding! Here's to learning and learning and learning some more! Like for example. . . I learned to get some pictures of the groom. Frrrrr. I was so worried about making the bride shine that I totally forgot about her sweetie. That's not totally true, I have quite a few of him as well as quite a few of the two of them together, but proportionately . . . it was WAY off! Learn from my mistake!

What to say, what to say? Have you EVER seen a more beautiful bride? It was a joy to shoot Kindsay! I'm proud to say that this lovely lady is now a NORTON! WELCOME TO THE FAMILY KINDS!!!! We LOVE you!




I love to ask brides to bring objects to the shoot that are special somehow to their fiancés. . . I asked Kindsay to bring Erik's guitar. I love the way the shot turned out.
