Hoffmann Family: Hawaii Portrait Photographer.

The Hoffmanns were the most wonderful clients of all time. Just FYI it was raining, HARD, throughout at least half of this shoot. If you click to enlarge, you can see the rain in some of the images (especially the first dyad) . . . They were SUCH great sports! Enjoy!

Oh how lovely! Here I was, trying to learn about exposure and metering and feeling overwhelmed and like I'll never be able to understand it all. Then I take a quick break to take a look at your blog, and I'm suddenly inspired and motivated again. Natalie, your portraiture is superb, and if I can one day achieve pictures just half as good as these I'll be pretty proud of myself.

Hi! Love your work! Mind giving me a few tips on how to get such great connection and fun when photographing people? How do you let them relax and just be themselves?
