Hope Contest Finalists. VOTE NOW!

Here are the finalists for the Pics and Kicks Hope Contest. There were so many AMAZING entries. Thank you so much to all who entered! The response was fantastic, far more than I'd anticipated. It was a real challenge to narrow it down to 3 finalists, so Jon and I (with a little help from Richie and Callie of course) went with 4 instead. We chose finalists based on relevance, composition and overall image strength.

GUIDELINES FOR VOTING:

  1. Vote by commenting below.
  2. Please vote only once.
  3. Your vote should include only 1 image and may include your feelings on the image if you so wish.
  4. Anonymous votes will not be tallied.
  5. All votes must be received no later than this coming Friday, August 1st.
  6. Winners will be announced Saturday, August 2nd.
Thanks for taking the time to vote!

Oh....and Happy Belated Birthday. I hope it rocked!

Hmmm, these are good...and thought provoking. I think I would pick #2 for Hope...#4 is probably my favorite though...it is like the fulfillment of hope...whatever that word might be.

They're all awesome! Great photos. I would choose:

First choice - #4
Runner-up - #3

They are all fantastic but definitely number 2 for me.

My vote is for number two. I like the silhouette! Number 4 for runner up :)

I say number four - but number two is a close second. I think number four because I think we all have hopes and dreams. To me number four kind of says, no matter how young or old you are, hold on to your hopes. (and I too, hope someday that I can take this picture with my hubby... it's cute)

I say #4 cause who doesn't hope for that someday?

Number F O U R ! They are each other's hope--look how she holds onto him, how he makes his arm strong for her. Their lives give us all hope for a future filled with love.
The others are amazing pics, but number four is Hope.

Notice I did pick #3 as my runner-up! It really is an awesome picture - it spoke hope to me too. But 4's still my #1:)

#4. All of the others are great pictures, but to me, #4 conveys the idea of hope the most and is also an awesome photo.

Natalie...do you sleep? My calculations tell me that you're editing photos at 4:30 am. You must not be human.

Wait, or is it 2:30am?

Image 4.

What I see first is that there's hope for love to last a lifetime. Good images all, but this one earns my vote.

Am I allowed to vote? Because I'd vote for #1. I LOVE the composition. It is such a strong image and conveys , in a less obvious way perhaps, such a sense of hope! I love it. I also really love #3 . . . gol, they're all awesome. Thanks to everyone who's voted so far!

GRANDMA & GRANDPA LOVE! PINK AND BLUE? PEARL NECKLACE AND TIE BAR? BUTTONS GALORE? RING ON THE WIFE. NO RING ON THE HUBBY (PROBABLY OUTGREW IT, LOST IT (TYPICAL) OR GAVE IT TO HIS SON/GRANDSON WHEN HE GOT MARRIED AS AN HEIRLOOM AND FAMILY TRADITION).

caaa.la.SIC. HOPE!

TELLS A NICE STORY.

I vote for number 1.
