Holy Kanolie.

I know this is not photography related, but my friend Kristen just told me about an awesome website called Deceptively Delicious and EVERY MOM from here to Timbuktu needs to check it out. Anything that can get my kids to eat spinach. . . even if it is baked into a brownie. . . is a rockin' and a rollin' in my book.

Nat, are you SEROUSLY telling me to put spinach into a brownie? Something's wrong with that. For real??

I got this recipe book for Christmas, and seriously, it is the BOMBDOTCOM!!! Try it out! It involves A LOT of pureeing I must say, so you'd have to dedicate a bunch of time to doing that. Then you can freeze your puree's and use as needed! My kiddies love the recipes, although, I can get them to eat spinach alone, anyway.

howdy! i'm an RN in New Hampshire....one of my co-workers has this book...it works great for her and her kiddos. everytime she brings us goodies, though, we question here about the ingredients! so far, we cannot tell the difference! it is, as mentioned above, very involved. get your food processor revved up!
thanks! gene

Does it work on husbands, too? ;-)

Shelly, I think I'm with you. Brownies are sacred cows. Don't you be messin with my brownies!

i bought this book back in september...not for my daughter, but for myself!! i don't eat vegetables so i have to sneak them into my own food. it's great! you puree all your veggies and mix it in with your food and you can't even tell they're there! there's even a recipe for "pink pancakes" in which you secretly put beets into the batter. can you believe that??

Lindsay and I use this recipe book and love it. It is a great addition to any cooking library.
