Holy Kanolie.

I know this is not photography related, but my friend Kristen just told me about an awesome website called Deceptively Delicious and EVERY MOM from here to Timbuktu needs to check it out. Anything that can get my kids to eat spinach. . . even if it is baked into a brownie. . . is a rockin' and a rollin' in my book.

Manic Monday.

Every Monday my good friend, and TOTAL fitness guru, Erin does an awesome post dedicated to fitness. Do your flabby arms a favor and check it out here!

Last February this lovely gal spent an entire week (I'm talking dawn till dusk) helping me clean and organize my ENTIRE home. The things she taught me have been a total miracle in my life. . . truly. This woman is a rock star. She shines. In every way.

Here's links to the two weeks you've missed:

Week 1

Week 2

PS: She's also a budding photographer extraordinaire. . . Erin, is there anything you CAN'T do??!??

Back in the Saddle

Just wanted to let you know, I'm teaching again . . . yoga that is. . . just for a 2 week study on the affects of yoga on the cardiovascular system. I never take jobs when they're offered to me and I never try to create them either. It just always ends up being more trouble than it's worth, however this time around the class is at 9pm, so I can get the kiddos in bed and head out. . . the size of the paycheck certainly sweetens the deal. It's been fun and I am truly amazed at the progress of these first time Yogis (being a first timer was one of the requirements of the study) in just 4 days. It's REMARKABLE. This isn't a granola become one with the universe by sitting as still as possible and stretching for an hour type of practice we're workin' either. They're working hard and doing great! Just a note about yoga. . . After my brother died, it truly did "get me through" those couple of turbulent months when the reality of it all started sink my ship. I went on a short hiatus for a couple of months and now that I'm back in the saddle, I'm realizing in a profound way that I just CANNOT AFFORD NOT to make time for this. It's good for my heart, it's good for my mind, it's tremendously good for my soul and it helps me in the perpetual push toward a size 4 (ha ha yeah right).
