i barely took a breath while watching that. and i ignored the kids for 9 minutes. all worth it. forgiveness is an area i struggle with. i just need to surrender that part of my like to god already.

my cousin wasjust like that intoxicated teen in that video. it took a few years in prison to have the mother forgive him. i will never forget the day when my aunt bawled with relief because during his "trial"... after 4 or 5 yrs in prison, she stood up and told the judge to let him live his life. she has forgiven him. her SON wants her to forgive him. he has three children of his own now, and expresses how much that mothers statement, her forgiveness... how that moment changed him forever.

What a beautiful example of kindness, forgiveness and hope you have shared with us...my heart is still and quiet before such love and forgiveness...I need to learn to have this man's attitude after the death of my own 19 year old sun in an awful car accident...God if I could just reach this place after the wrongful death of my only son...dear God help me...
