This is the first in a series of giveaways coming in the next bit featuring baby Gavin's favorite things. Makes my heart smile to be able to share some things he loved. :)
When I was pregnant with Gavin, a blog reader, Addie sent me a wonderful gift. A Moby Wrap. Never could I have ever known how absolutely treasured it would be! I am IN LOVE with this baby carrier. It feels like being pregnant, but in all the good ways and none of the horrific. :) It is absolute magic. It allows you to hold your baby in a way that is completely comfortable (and comforting) to you both. Especially if you've got other kids. It allows you to hold baby AND be hands free! AND, it's not HOT like other plastic ish carriers. I am a HUGE fan. HUGE!
Fab for tinies and toddlers alike. . . EVEN TWINS.
OK. I'll stop. ;) But seriously, I can't. Stop. This thing is AWESOME! . . . it'd be a pretty fancy baby shower gift if you don't have midgets of your own. Just sayin'.

I wore my son too, for the 9 weeks he graced the earth. I didn't have a Moby, and I soooo wish I'd known they existed. We had to combine a sling with a sarong to ensure he was safe - but the closeness it provided was sooo special!
Now I wear my 3rd baby in the Moby. If I win I'll pass it on to my girlfriend who's had her 4th (in 5 years) and needs her hands free!!! Poor thing's only got a front pack!

Wow, cool, I'd love to try one. I have a sling that I love and it also helps me not have regrets about holding my little guy enough. But, since he's getting bigger and heavier the weight on one shoulder gets to be a little much. My fingers are crossed!

I would LOVE to have a Moby. I've never had one. My baby is 10 weeks old, I have a 2 year daughter and I'm in the Physical Therapy Assistant program. My son is a good baby as long as he doesn't get put down...which can get a little difficult at times when trying to make dinner, clean, study, etc. I think this Moby would save me a lot of stress and my baby a lot of tantrums! Thanks!

Oh I would love this. I am planning on getting pregnant this summer, and all I can say is I HATED the baby sling and the Bjorn for my first baby, and my daughter didnt like them back. I have seen these around and they look so awesome!

I just had a thought today after reading your entry.....what if you have another baby? Wouldn't you want them to have Gavin's things? Just a thought. All of the other carriers ive tried are so big and awkward. This looks awesome. Im small, my baby is big and my arms get tired:) so id LOVE one that finally works!
What an exciting give away! I've never been much of a "baby carrier" fan until now. I am pregnant with our 4th child, due in September. I realize it's still a ways out BUT I'm a huge planner and just TODAY I was thinking that I will need to get a baby carrier. By the time our baby is born my 3rd child will have just turned two which means she will still commandeer the stroller. So baby #4 will need to be strapped to me! And I HAVE to have my hands free! I've been really excited about the Moby wrap and wanted to try/ have one ever since I first saw them!

I am due to have baby #2 August 2nd. I have a Hotsling from my first child (will be 2) and was not pleased. I have heard so many good things about the Moby wrap and would love to have one for the next baby. I am sure it would be very helpful especially having a 2 year old to take care of to...hands free! Can I enter for my baby sister now that she has a baby? Just a little FYI on her. She's young, 22, and is now living 15 hours from family to stay with her boyfriend so that he can see his son everyday when he arrives home from his job in freezing cold North Dakota. They have very little furniture or money and my sweet little nephew is six weeks old and wants to be held lots! I loved having one with my own wonderful son and was glad to bless someone else with it but wish she had one too! oh, and Natalie, you do rock! {sincerely meant from my heart, not to sway votes!:) }

Eva was a high needs fussy baby... I literally wore her in a Moby everyday for close to the first 3 months... not only did that help her feel secure and aleviate the fussyness, but I feel like we were able to connect in a deep way that would not have happened if I didn't wear her like that. It's a womb experience extender! Babies feel safe and secure in these things! I recently gave one to my sis who just had a baby boy... also a fussy baby. He cries alot all day. She put him in and he instantly fell asleep... she was sold!
