Ho ho ho!

I want to get the boys instant cameras for Christmas.

What do YOU think?

This guy from Fuji?

the film is like .75 a pic. ouch!!, but the cam is cheaper

OR

This guy from Polaroid?

the cam is more expensive, but the photo paper is .03 an image.

oy oy oy.
decisions are the worst.

I would go with whichever one was the most rugged & can withstand the most drops, bumps & bangs! ;)

i want both!

i agree with amber, whatever will outlast imaginary pirate ship wrecks and the like, or pick the one that comes in different colors.

instead of the fuji camera, you could track down the polaroid mio on ebay. it takes the same instax mini film. i have one and got it for $20 bucks on ebay.

i've been having this same dilemma... i want to use an instant camera for my wedding guest book, and can't make up my mind..

i think, though, the fuji might be more kid-friendly??

Haha!! Decisions are the worst! Good movie.

aaaanyways, I like the first camera better, because it would be cheaper to replace when it's broken. Also, the higher cost-per-print would be a good teaching tool for your boys to make the most of every shot! That's how it was for me, growing up, with a certain number of exposures per film roll and a pricey developing charge at the photo place. Made each shot worth more and I think I learned to try to make each one count. :)

maybe the 2nd one cuz it might be more cost effective in the long run as they take more pictures...

Hey I don't know if it's a little late to post a comment, but I got tha polaroid instant prints awhile back and find it pretty easy to use. The color balance is a little off, but it's better then nothing. I recommend it on a trip where you need to leave behind photo memories for strangers but cannot find a handy printer.
