Today I Love: North Dakota. Yup, Seriously.

Thank you to Congressman Earl Pomeroy for the stunning image. I kid you not.

So my analytics will show me a map of the world and where all you lovely souls who stop by for an occasional visit come from. . . not like Google maps down to your driveway or anything, but the general geographic location. For a sad lonely while now, North Dakota has been the solitary state in the United States that has remained unoccupied by the lovely orange dots that represent visitors. It didn't matter that all my lovely friends come from all over the globe. . . for example:

Quite a few people come from Egypt. That should be pretty satisfying. North Dakota, you've been ruining that for me. I have quite the following in the UK and France. North Dakota, you've been spoiling that for me as well. I even had a visit the other day from a country called Oman. North Dakota, you reigned on my parade yet AGAIN.

Well my little dears, I am sad and lonely no longer! A few days ago not one, no no no but two people from opposite sides of the state came by for a visit. I won't mention that they stayed on the site for only 1 or 2 seconds, the important thing is that they came. Now Heaven's name be praised, that state no longer BLARES at me from the computer screen whenever I check my analytics. So North Dakota, today, I love you, and I'm not ashamed to say it.

I LOVE NORTH DAKOTA!

Hahahahaha! That's so hilarious! I've been to North Dakota once. It was 65 degrees BELOW zero, with the wind chill factor. I'm not kidding. Yay for North Dakota...but I really think they should look at you for longer than 2 seconds. They don't know what they're missing! Maybe Hawaii made them depressed?

Hahahahahaha wha-hahahahaha! Shelly, you crack me up!
And this is me, Natalie's mom, shamelessly, bold-facedly,brazenly asking all you folks from France, UK, Egypt, Oman and all those other beautiful places in the world (including North Dakota), to COME VISIT ME! I'm not as cool as Natalie, but I am related. Doesn't that count for something???

You can find me here: skinnylink.blogspot.com
Come on over!

Mom you are so tacky. Stop reader soliciting! Ha ha ha!!!

Sorry guys, she's on a roll and she can't be stopped! LOL!

But do be sure and go check her out. Despite what she says above, she is WAY cooler than I am.

All,

I put the link in the post for the analytics service. It's through google. Free.

Google owns the world. It's true.

I'm also a blogger from ND, but I hardly ever check my stats. I should do that sometime.

Your blog caught my attention because I spent part of the day in the state tourism conference yesterday. One of the things that was mentioned was that out of state visitors brought $3.8 million into the state last year.

Only these were tourists, not blog surfers. Too bad for us!!!

I love the photo at the top of the page.

I'm from North Dakota (but living in MN), and I visited your blog for much longer than 1-2 seconds. Does that count? ;-)
