The Masina Family: Lehi, UT.

It was an honor and a complete joy to photograph the Masina family. They are dear dear friends of Richie and mine and we haven't seen each other in WAY too long. Naomi is also a photographer out of Utah. Be sure to mosey on over and check her out. She's well worth the gander!

Enjoy!

Engagements: Jack and Emily in Encinitas.

I seriously love this couple! Jack and Emily are so full of love and life. . . and love FOR life! It was SO MUCH fun photographing them in Encinitas last month. Guys, I can't wait for your wedding in October! See you soon!!

Kids, Cake and Crazy Booth Fun.

Be sure to check out the teaser from Michael and Kirsten's wedding. It was such an amazing event. Thanks again to Heather at Amorology and Jamie Hammond for all the fun!

Sneak Peek: Michael and Kirsten.

Amorology has done it again! Michael and Kirsten's wedding was A.MAZING. I got to help photographer Jamie Hammond with this event and had an absolute ball. The wedding had a Marie Antoinette theme ("let them eat cake" . . . look it up:)) and everything was just gorgeous!! I spent most of the night at the crazy booth (more on that to come soon!) but was able to grab a few fun detail shots as well. Enjoy!

Loved Kirsten's fun boquet designed by Robin from Twigg Botanicals.

There were mini cakes and awesome cupcake stands as centerpieces on all the tables! Definitely the yummiest wedding my crazy sweet tooth and I have ever attended!

More coming soon from this delicious (pun intended. . .har har har) event!

Naivalu Family.

Angel and Sai are probably the most wonderful, centered, committed parents I have ever met in my entire life. They are amazing parents, with amazing children, living in the amazing Rocky Mountains of Aspen, CO. If I could be half the mother Angel is I'd sing hallelujahs until I was blue in the face! Thanks for having us guys! We love you!!

Gibson-Maero-Fetzer Family.

Follow closely: My mom dated S Maero, who was friends with my dad G Link. They broke up. . . this was in high school. Steve M and my dad had another friend K Gibson. Fast forward a ways: S Maero married C . . . they had two beautiful daughters L and A. They divorced, but set an example to divorced couples everywhere by remaining dear dear friends. C married D Fetzer. S Maero married J. J and S Maero had 2 beautiful daughters J and L Maero. Meanwhile K Gibson had a son, also named K Gibson. S Maero had a daughter, L Maero. They grew up. They got married! They had 3 beautiful grandchildren for all the aforementioned Maero-Fetzer-Gibson grandparents. Everyone got together recently in Hawaii, and I got to take their pictures at the back yard bbq. And I now proudly introduce the the Gibson-Maero-Fetzer family! They're a family full of perfect love, belly laughs and and a lot of good food! Love you guys!

Amply confused? Great! Enjoy!

Robin: Twigg Botanicals.

This past weekend while I was in CA, I did a quick head shot session with Robin from Twigg Botanicals. Twigg Botanicals and Amorology Weddings are sister companies. Both are based out of Carlsbad, CA. Their level of professionalism, remarkable creativity, attention to detail and taste for fine things definitely warrant them a second glance from local brides to be. I've been working with them more and more over the past few months and have truly found NOTHING lacking. In fact, they've never ceased to absolutely EXCEED my expectations for a wedding in every way.

Enjoy.

This first little triad is my favorite. Click to enlarge!

Cubworld.

It was an absolute pleasure in every way to photograph one of my dearest friends, and favorite musicians, Jake Kongaika of Cubworld. Jake will be using shots from this shoot for promotional material in coming months, so it was really important to both of us that we really created something atypical and captured HIM in these images. I'm very pleased by how they turned out. Well then, without further ado. . .

McBride Family.

Tyler and Richie grew up together in Southern CA. . . Imagine my excitement when Katie was one of the portrait giveaway winners from the contest back in April!! They are such dear friends and it was SO much fun hanging out during this shoot. Love you guys!!

These first two candids are my favorite shots of the day!!
