At the end of every shoot I try to ask my clients if there's anything in particular they have in mind that I may not have covered. This is what Seth came up with:
15 March, 2008

Seth and Lindsey.
As promised. . . here are a few favorites from my shoot with Seth and Lindsey this afternoon. They are a lovely couple with a deep and sincere love (high school sweet hearts. . . how magical and romantic is that???). It was a joy spending this afternoon with them. Congratulations on the baby girl to come! You will be brilliant parents, just brilliant!

Maternity Shoot a Comin'.
This is Lindsay and Seth. They were students of mine in the yoga study I did back in November. I saw them again at a birthday party shoot this past weekend, and today I'm happily off to shoot this darling couple and specifically the tummy bundle. . . hopefully they'll have chosen a different selection from the wardrobe.
Check back soon for a post from today's shoot!
Happy Shooting!

Natalie

A Cousin! FINALLY!
I had the awesome blessing of being able to shoot my sister Stephanie and her darling hubby Kevin this past week in Oceanside! They live in Laguna Naguel and drove down for the afternoon so that we could do the shoot. It was SUCH fun! Honestly, this couple is the most tender, loving couple I have EVER met. They are perfect for each other. This baby is one lucky boy coming into a family full of so much love and acceptance. Truly Steph and Kev, my deepest and happiest congratulations! I love you guys!
PS- The baby is due in February. YES, she really is THAT pregnant, and YES, she really does still look THAT hot.

Dory and Daddy!
It was so fun a couple of weeks ago to shoot our dear friends Dory and Jesse (and baby Elizabeth of course. . .). The poor little dears were such good sports when about 10 shots into our session they got POUNDED by a rogue wave! Well, they were rock stars and we rode the horse the direction it was going, so that's why they're both pretty dang wet in most of these shots. . . Can't wait to meet you Elizabeth. I sure do love your momma (Jesse, you too!).
Let's start with my favorite shot of the day:
Here's the shot just before the tsunami. . .
And right after. . . in true Price form. . . still smiles all around!
This baby is coming into such a loving relationship. Just look at them!!

Rad huh! I love the contrast:
Just a couple more:
Elizabeth, Elizabeth. . . can't wait to spend Christmas with you! HINT HINT! You dang well better show up by then or your mom is going to loose her mind! We'll love you either way ;).

Beautiful Balliet Belly!
I had SUCH a great time shooting this darling little family. Momma, Heather, is one of those hot pregnant gals that mom's like me totally despise. . . seriously, she makes being "big" with child look GOOD! OWW!

See what did I tell you, hot right?! And so sweet. Troy and Heather have such a tender relationship. It was just precious watching them together. Look at this next shot; you'll totally see the tenderness I'm talking about.
And this is the big brother Finn. . . have you seen a cuter 2 year old?! So fun! He kept trying to bite my toes while I was taking pictures of his mom, but just gently. It was so so FUNNY!

It was so hard to choose favorites from this shoot! This family was so fun and all the pictures totally speak to that. Anyway, these last two are my favoirtes because the first just makes you want to be their kid and feel some of that love Finn and his new baby sister have and the second is just classic in every way. So much love!! Everywhere you look!

Chris and Taylor

This was a really special shoot for me. Chris and Taylor are some of Richie and my dearest friends, and so it was double wonderful to capture this special time with them. We're all so excited to greet little Scout Pierce! I'm still holding out for the 13th of June, we'll see if Taylor can wait that long. . . (ok, so it may be J Pierce, but I need a girl in my life, so I'm rooting for you Scout!!).
I loved this next series because it feels so intimate to me. It's all about the precious relationship between husband and wife. It's so essential for a family to have the bond between mom and dad that this group of pics exhibits. Chris and Taylor are obviously crazy about eachother and it's totally refreshing.

I'm not quite sure how to verbalize these next few. . . they speak for themselves. . . they just capture that time of peace and clarity, similar to that state between sleep and awake, when everything seems in focus and . . . right.

Taylor shines. She kept insisting she's not photogenic; these shots say otherwise.

Ooo. . . ah. . . oh. . .
My favorite shot of the day:
Chris' favorite shots of the day:
And of course the sunset series:

Then off for chips and salsa! Oh, it was a great day!
