Awwww, yaaaay!! Happy "together 8 years" day!! I have to say that I dated my husband for right under 2 months before we got married too. Three kids and 7 and half years later..... I guess it just proves you do not have to date for any lengthy amount of time to make a marriage work. You just do it....Like you have no other choice! Happy Anniversary! When it's meant to be, it's meant to be. My hubby and I were engaged after 6 weeks, freaking out our parents, but they got used to the idea. :) We waited 4 months after that to get married because dh's twin brother was getting married, too, and we wanted to give them some space.

Congratulations! My hubby and I make 8 years in almost a month but we dated 11 months which is a long time in "our" standards but we totally would've gotten married sooner if we could've.
