Minnie: Senior Portrait Photoraphy Oahu.

Minnie is another one of Richie's Seminary girls. I have long been impressed with this young lady. She knows exactly who she is and her amazing confidence and optimism make her an absolute leader to all around her. Enjoy!

Karena: Senior Portrait Photography Oahu.

Karena is one of the most sweet, loving, respectful young women I have ever met. She is one of the six lovely girls in Richie's early morning seminary class for our church. Yes, these kids, boys and girls ages 14-18, get up every school day morning at the literal crack of dawn to attend a gospel study class at the church at 6am! (This year they studied the Old Testament).

I was so happy to have the opportunity to take some fun portraits of the girls (all the graduates just happen to be girls this year).

Girls,

Brother Norton and I love you very much.
We are so proud of the beautiful young WOMEN you have become!
We hope that you'll continue to make smart choices
and create the life of your dreams!

Congratulations Class of 2009!

xo,

N

On the Wall.

I'm trying to get prints ordered for my walls this week. I firmly maintain that bigger is ALWAYS better, so these will all be printed 16 x 24 and hung side by side in my living room (which essentially means I'll be hanging a 48" x 24" piece of awesome) . I'm planning to print on standout so they don't need to be framed. . . standout has a thick plastic edge and is very durable and rigid (I feel like it's classier than canvas in most situations, though occasionally canvas is still my pick, it just depends on where the image will be displayed). I'm still going back and forth on whether to finish them with the metalic spray to make them say "RAWR!" :) Ha!

If you're a client and would like to talk over the best printing options for display in your home, please don't hesitate to email me. I'd be happy to chat it over and help you display your prints in the best way possible for the look and feel of your home and family!

Behind behind.

I'm so behind on blogging.
I have MANY a session to pop on the bloggity.
Soon.
Scouts honor.

In the mean time however I wanted to share this AWESOME video that Richie sent me. In the end it is an advertisement for I don't know what, but it is absolutely lovely and SO EMPOWERING. Richie and I are HUGE advocates for entrepreneurialism. Granted I have been known to whine a bit every now and then over how great it would be to feel the security of a bi-monthly pay check. . . not gonna lie . . . but in the end, we just feel so strongly that the key to self reliance and joie de vivre is in the "do it yourself" model. I get that it's not for everyone, but it is for some. If you're on the fence about jumping in and just TRYING something you've always dreamed of, I say GO FOR IT! There's no time like the present! Bad economy, shmad eshonomy. Give me a break! Just go out and make it happen! :) Enjoy.
