After 7 years of dedicated service to our community, Ohana Video is closing it's doors. :( I was honored when my friend Rachel asked me to take a few pictures of their family on their store's final day.

I know closing the store was a bitter sweet decision for our friends and as I culled through the images, I'm not gonna lie, I felt a little tug in my heart that went beyond purely pregnancy related emotions. . . I know I'm not the only one who's sad to see the store go! Jase and Rachel have truly been a pillar in the community for the 6 1/2 years they've owned the store. I know I can speak for the community as a whole when I say THANK YOU Bennett family for loving and entertaining us all these years!

LaCie Rugged Hard Drive.

I am IN LOVE with the LaCie 250GB Rugged All-Terrain Portable Hard Drive.
Woosh, what a mouth full!
Grab yours from B&H for only $96!
I travel with this guy to all out of town weddings/portrait sessions and family vacations so I can back up on the go. Max (yes mine has a name) has been dropped, banged up, stepped on, tossled to and fro and a million other external drive no no's and is still going STRONG.

I Wish.

a) I wish I could see my feet
b) I wish I didn't have cankles
c) I wish it wasn't 400° in Hawaii in September. . .
the heat wave really isn't conducive to any type of relief from letters a or b.

Nick and Missy: San Diego Wedding Photography.
She's a dancer; he's in a band. Together they taught me what John and Paul have been trying to teach me for years . . . "All You Need is Love."
Nick and Missy's wedding was coordinated by none other than the magical Heather of Amorology Weddings. The event was held at the Rancho Valencia Resort in San Diego. Floral decor provided by Robin the Great of Twigg Botanicals.

I love the perplexed look on Nick's face (below) as he's trying to figure out
how the HECK he's supposed to pin that thing on. :)

Nick and Missy opted to do a first glance photo op.
Love the look on both their faces as they saw each other
for the first time on their wedding day.

The ceremony was amazing.
Yes folks, rose petals in the shape of music notes
were shaped down the aisle.

One thing that never ceases to amaze me about
Amorology coordinated events,
aside from Heather's obvious and impeccable attention to detail,
is the seamless flow.
The ceremony moved flawlessly to the cocktail hour.

I mentioned earlier that Nick is a musician.
They had a fun spin on the whole concept of a sign in book.
See below:

And yet again, perfect flow from the cocktail hour to dinner and dancing
in the reception area downstairs.
Here are a few details from the reception.
